Potomacs
The Potomac was started by a grassroots organization called Ecolocity. The aim of the Potomac is to localize the economy and help it become more self sustained. Each Potomac is worth 95 US cents but in participating stores in the local market Potomacs can be used one-for-one. Potomacs come in 1, 5, 10 and 20 denominations.
