The Nelson Enterprise Loan Trust (NELT) was established in 1997. Our objectives are to assist new and emerging businesses achieve long-term success by giving them access to capital at the time it’s most needed,to benefit the whole community, by assisting socially and environmentally responsible enterprises that generate employment and allow skills and profits to be retained in the region and to enhance regional prosperity by contributing to the Nelson Tasman Regional Economic Development Strategy.
