The North Missoula Community Development Corporation has had a holistic approach to revitalizing Missoula's oldest neighborhoods. Our Land Stewardship Program works to build permanently affordable homes for first-time homebuyers earning less than 80% of Area Median Income. Using the nationally recognized community land trust model, the Land Stewardship Program owns land and holds it in a commonwealth for the community. The NMCDC's other projects include building a safe playground for neighborhood kids, starting an outdoor summer film series, developing commercial space for the Missoula Community Food Co-op, and several other projects in the interest of neighborhood residents.
